All About Dance focuses on teaching the art and joy of dance to students ages 2 years through adult. Our 6:1 student:teacher ratio provides each student with individual, one-on-one time with the teacher. All About Dance is a place where hard work, passion and determination create extraordinary dancers!
Studio owner and director, Lindsey Underwood of Cedar Hill, has been dancing since before she was able to make full sentences at the young age of 2. After being asked to be an assistant teacher at the age of 15, Lindsey realized that not only did she have a passion for dancing, but a desire to express and share that passion with her students. Lindsey has competed in numerous dance competitions and was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Hall of Fame Dance Challenge at the age of 17. Lindsey was the Cedar Hill youth drill team coach and has choreographed many plays at the DeSoto Town Theatre. She has taught for 13 years at three different studios including All About Dance. Lindsey enjoys teaching children of all ages and strongly believes that dancing is not only fun but can help build character and self-esteem. Lindsey is a member of the National Dance Association, the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, the American Association for Physical Activity and Recreation, the Zumba Instructor Network, International Fitness Association and the Midlothian Chamber of Commerce. Lindsey and her husband, Marcus live in Midlothian and have three kids: Layna, Bryson and Jase. They are members of Liberty Baptist Church here in Midlothian.
My dream since I was a little girl has always been to open my own dance studio and share my passion for dance with others. My dream is now a reality and I couldn't be happier.
